He simply has a way of setting the atmosphere up in a quiet, unhurried manner.<BR/>You must try to pick it up sometime..melon colliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16118519345448759156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11702847.post-1130006684435069762005-10-22T12:44:00.000-06:002005-10-22T12:44:00.000-06:00Matt- I can't believe you mention Murakami! You ha...Matt- I can't believe you mention Murakami! You have found another great author. Actually, Jeremy Eig was the one who introduced me to him, and later I found out that Joel Schekman (the friend of mine you met when you were last in LA) was the one who told Jeremy about him. Anyway, his books are fascinating in their conception and ideas. I really liked the Wind-up Bird Chronicle, especially. He can be very surreal in terms of setting and plot, yet his writings are emotionally very real and concrete. I know he came out with a new book a few months ago- I haven't been able to check it out yet.LSLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12993753467049880331noreply@blogger.com
