Tragedy struck just off Miami Beach this afternoon, when a sea plane crashed just after take-off. I wasn't a witness to the disaster, but it is always a shock to find something terrible has happened so nearby. As you'd expect, the news coverage so far has been limited to speculation around the same stark facts: no survivors, no clear cause.
