The NPR program
Marketplace has been reporting live from Shanghai on the changes and challenges of the fast-growing Chinese economy. This morning's report focused on piracy - an interesting topic for anyone in the entertainment and software industries. All of the reports I've heard so far have been fascinating, though. Hearing the
Marketplace theme rendered on Chinese instruments, and Kai Ryssdal introducing the show in Mandarin, is also a treat.
You can read much more and find out where to listen at the
Marketplace website.
